28 Weeks 3 Days

This week sure flew by really fast. It's so fun to
see that people have been noticing my baby bump lately.
I normally don't have people notice, I usually tell them
that I'm pregnant...
and they don't believe me when I tell them how far
along I am lol!
I have to document a few things I have noticed.
Our little one kicks more when I first wake up in
the morning. He kicks when I want to go to sleep.
I have also noticed that he kicks when I am cooking
near the stove, When I'm soaking in the tub. He loves
to kick after I have eaten. He kicks more when I eat
spicy food or when Kenton is home and just made me laugh
Really hard.
Our little one responds to me poking my belly. lol! It's
more like a slight movement and then he's back to sleep.

Cravings: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches or just
peanut butter. I have been craving more sweets. Which
I'm trying to not have a lot of... Hmm... I have been wanting
more diet coke. Which is also odd, because I haven't had a lot
of caffeine till I walked into my third trimester. Hence this week
and last week. Ugh! I have wanted more chicken. I have noticed
I've wanted waffles morning, day or night. lol! I've been in love
with my Ensures in the morning with my breakfast. Such a friendly
boost PLUS vitamins. :0)
Kenton went a little camera happy. We are in the middle of transitioning
the guest room to the babies room. So I'm sorry about the sports
theme and floral theme in the room. lol! It's so random! These next
two months were going to playing a lot in the nursery and getting
it more ready. :0) So exciting!!!
I just realized that when I look down I can't see my feet any more.
It's so weird to not being able to see my feet anymore. It is
a good thing I just read on "What to Expect when you're expecting".
I was also reading about babies kicks and how big the baby is.

Can you believe that my baby that is about 16 inches right now.
He is also the size of a Chinese Cabbage and weighs 2 1/4 pounds.
I can't believe that my LONG baby actually fits.
It's now time for baby to start packing on the weight before
he comes out. I just hope our OB knows how to work the 4D
ultrasound by the time we have our next appointment, which is on
Valentines day! Awe... Such a wonderful treat to ourselves. lol!

Good bye Tiburon hello MAZDA3 i Touring

We went and sold our car... The last look of our sweet sports car.

This is our 2005 Tiburon GT limited sports Car. With Power locks/windows,
keyless entry, sunroof, auto climate control, infinity sound
system including a 10" subwoofer in the hatch,
Saying good bye... Trade in for our Family car.

Kenton loved the Leather/Material on this... But sacrifices
must be made. :0) We sure LOVED ya car. It was such a fun
car to take on dates and outings. Good Bye!
in this picture... The car isn't scratched. It just has snow and ice
on it. I took this picture from the dealership website. I didn't
have time to take one of my own. I should probably get on that. :0)

We finally sold our Tiburon today. It's so weird to say that
we have a NEW car. It's so fun to have a family car. We really
needed one. If we had the Tiburon when the baby was born,
there would be no way we could get the baby in and out very easily.
Just because we found out
with Aubrey's kids. That the car seat has to be put through
the hatch. Ugh! Good thing Aubrey's kids are bigger. I just don't
know what I think about all of that with a new born. Just because
they have to stay in the car seat the whole time.
I wanted to tell you a little bit about our New Car. This is
a 2010 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring. The color is Liquid Silver.
Kenton is really happy that is is a darker silver. He isn't a fan of the
lighter color silver and I have always loved color on a car.
I'm so happy that we found a car that we both like. :0)
The inside of the car, it is the base model so no leather, heated seats,
navigation system, Auto Climate, Sunroof
or no Push Start. If we ended up getting that
car it would have been 5 to $8,000 more. We ended up putting
our priorities in order. We do have a baby on the way and we both realized
that getting baby stuff is more important. These things will all come in time.
Kenton and I have just loved this car. I was really surprised
that we sold our sports car. Kenton had put the Tiburon on Ksl.com
and a guy at a dealership wanted to see it. We ended up driving to
Sandy to have our car looked at. One of the dealers went out and looked at it and
came in and gave us a price that was way more then what any other dealership
was going to offer us. I turned to Kenton and was more willing to look
at the cars the had on their lot. We had already tested the Mazda3 before and we
already knew that we loved this car. I was really happy to see that they
had this car for a great deal. Kenton ended up talking the guy down $1,500
from what he wanted to sell it for. I was trying not to laugh or show
any emotion, in fear that he wouldn't go down any more in price. lol!

I was in shock to see that we were doing paper work and that we were
going to get this car. We have been to many dealerships and loved
certain cars, but things always happen for a reason. The dealers never offered
us a good price for our car. I know they did that, because they knew
they could sell it for a lot more. Kenton and I just ended up walking
off the lot to try to sell our car on our own. I LOVE my husband. He
Is such a great man. I'm looking forward to many trips with our
new little family car. Looks like things are finally coming together.
I'm also feeling more prepared as the time has been getting
closer for our little man to come. :0)

Our Christmas Card 2010

To all those who didn't get a Christmas Card.
I'm very sorry!!! We had a short budget and could only
do 25 which went to Family and very few friends.
I will try to do better next year. I know I promised I
would post this for those who didn't get a card could
see it and feel included. Remember I still love you! :0)

I hope you enjoy our lovely Christmas Card to all of you.

Sorry the last picture was a little orange from our Mexico trip.
It looked different on the website and when they were printed
we ended up looking like umpa lumpas. Ha ha ha! Gotta Love it!!!

If you are having trouble reading the wording on the Christmas card,
just click on the picture and it will make it bigger.

Happy Be-Lated Holiday's Everyone! I hope it was a good one. :0)

Baby Bedroom Design in the works

Here are a few Ideas we have for the baby's room.
I'm super excited to see all the plans and Ideas finally coming
together. We have all the patterns and the materials picked out.
I can't wait for our tax returns to come so
I can go buy my fabric and start on
this lovely Bedroom set idea we have for our little man.

I have a funny story on why we decided on sewing all the
things for the baby's room instead of just buying one.
Well Kenton and I went to Babies R US and looked at all
the bedding sets. I wanted a jungle theme and Kenton
wanted more of a sports theme. I wasn't into the sports
theme as much, just because it looked more like a room
for a child in the 5th grade. Kenton didn't like the Jungle Theme
just because he said it looked too much like a little girls room.

Well after looking online and going a little nutty on trying
to find the right pattern that both of us could agree on. After looking
for a month online, I decided to
go with a plain pattern. No designs on it, no theme, just Blue and brown. lol!
We found one online that we both really liked. The only problem
was the ugly camel color on it. I didn't want to just spend money on
something I wasn't truly happy with. I ended up breaking and
came up with the idea to just make a custom babies
room set. I started going to all the fabric stores and picking
swatches of fabric. I had so many different swatches and so many
different colors. After playing with them for a while. I finally came
up with this wonderful pattern with these colors. Kenton and I both
LOVE IT!!!
This was just the beginning of our ideas for the room.
Which is including baby crib (Bed skirt, bed sheets, and bumper pads).
I will be making the curtains with that lovely blue material.
I have also found a beautiful sheer White material to go behind the
curtains. It has the same look as that blue material. I'm also adding
material to a lamp shade to match the room. This room is going to look
so darling once we finish it all up, and add little extra touches
to the room with the money we will be saving in the long run.
As well as what extra things we will need, that we didn't get from
baby showers. I'm excited that Kenton and I have a game plan. :0)

Let me know your thoughts on this baby room.
I love it! I hope you feel the same way.

27 Weeks and 4 Days Pregnant!

I should be more on top of these things. I feel like I never
get pictures done right on my week mark. lol! I haven't wrote
about our last doctors appointment. We went to see our new doctor
on January 17th 2011. He was actually really good and answered a lot
of my questions and fears. I enjoyed that he had so much knowledge. I
Loved the fact that he had so much time to spend on me. I had our
other doctor that had way too many clients and was always in a rush.
I'm not saying he was not good, because he was the Best OB in Utah. I believe.

The only down fall with our new doctor was he didn't really know how to use
the fancy equipment. He knew all the basics. I was sad that he didn't
know how to do the 4D ultrasound. I hope he can figure it out before we go
in again. I miss the 4D pictures. Our new doctor also forgot to give
us our pictures of the little baby. So I don't really have a visual for
everyone. I'm sure he will get a hang of it. I can say that I do
trust him in a delivery room. I'm glad I gave him a chance. I really
shouldn't have worried all that much about a new OB. :0)

I have been so excited. I finally finished my 9 burp cloths and 4 baby bibs.
I am now going to get started on my baby blanket. As soon as
I finish that, then it's time to get started on baby bedding,
which includes the bumper pad, crib sheets, and crib skirt.
Then I have a diaper stacker I'll be working on, as well as
curtains to match, if I have extra time I will be working on
another baby blanket. I thought this way we would be saving
money as well as giving me something to do during the day.

Kenton and I were also happy Brady and Bonnie let us borrow their
little baby bassinet. It's super cute and white. :0) I'm sure
that will be nice to have for the first three months. Thank
you guys it is super cute!

We finally finished our baby registry at Babies R US. Now
time to finish up our registry at Target. Then we will be set.
I have been working on invitations for the baby shower and
almost have them finished (all thanks to JJ).
We have all of our paper goods bought for the
shower. I'm so happy that yesterday we finally picked out a date.
The date for the shower is on April 16th around 11AM.
I have decided I'm doing the same thing I did for my bridal shower
and only having ONE shower for my dad's side, Mom's side, and
friends. I felt like that worked best on me as well as on them.
I'm kind of scared having it so close to the due date. I think it will be
ok... Hopefully!

Other news... Our little man has been getting so big.
His kicks are getting stronger and I swear he is a night owl. lol!
I love watching my belly move. Kenton likes watching him kick and
feeling his movements. Kenton likes to talk to my belly.
He tells him who is boss and not to hurt mommy. lol!
Even though the kicks don't really hurt. I love my little man.

I'm surprised on how small I look. I don't feel very little.
Our new doctor was concerned because I didn't look like I was
26 weeks and 4 days pregnant. He did some measurements on
my belly and then when he did the ultra sound he wasn't worried
anymore, he told me "You must be doing something right, he
is a week ahead of schedule". That made mommy's day to see
that all is well. Maybe I just have mother bearing hips?

I think I have said a lot for now. I will see if I can get our baby
bedding ideas up soon so all of you can see all the images
and materials that we will be using in the room.

LOVE all of YOU! Thanks for all your support and all you do for
our growing little family.

26 Weeks 1 Day

Oh my! I can't believe how time has just flown by.
Kenton and I are getting so excited for our little one
that is just GROWING! His kicks are getting stronger and
he is moving more these days. On January 6th 2011,
we made it to our 26th mark. I feel like I have been totally blessed
with an easy pregnancy, an amazing husband, a beautiful
house, and wonderful family and friends. What more could
a girl ask for?

Starting with this week I now know what Braxton
Hicks Contractions are now. Not to worry for those who
dont know that that is. I'm not in labor. It's more like my
body preparing for baby to come. They come for a min. Then they
are gone. All is well!

On January 10th 2011 we Hit our 100 day mark till baby comes.
I really couldn't believe that we were on the double digits point.
We decided to celebrate that we are now in the "double digits" on
the 13th. We went to Roosters Restaurant. It was so good!
I had Hot Wings. I haven't had hot wings since the
beginning of 2008, when I was in Chicago. Oh how I have
missed the taste of hot wings. It's so nice to be able
to eat them again. Everywhere I have been they don't sell
Hot wings Gluten Free. Family and Friends Roosters
has a wonderful Gluten free menu. I could kiss them. I really
was that excited! Half way though my meal. My little one
was doing summersaults in my stomach. I read that it is ok
to eat hot and spicy meals. It's kind of interesting to know
that they can now taste what I eat. It just takes 2 hours to
get to him. I feel like trying different foods and introducing him
to all my favorite foods. I told Kenton that our little man
will have my taste buds. LOL! He will grow to LOVE spicy foods.
Vegetables and sea food. I'm going to love having a little
buddy. :0) I love you honey. Thanks for all that you do
for our little family. Hugs!

Happy New Years!!! Good Bye 2010

Happy New Years!!!
I can't believe it's 2011 already. This year has
gone by so fast. I guess it's because so much has
happened in 2010. From planning a wedding,
Kenton getting a new job, to
getting married, moving into a new home, baby
on board (planned may I add). Now preparing for a baby
to come.

It's so fun planning and preparing for a baby.
Kenton has loved his new job. We loved getting
Married in the temple. I keep wondering what is
going to be coming around the corner for 2011.
I do know that baby will be here in April, right
after our one year anniversary.

I was trying to think if I had any resolutions from
last year. Then I realized I don't think I made many.
I was engaged and was too twitter-pated to realize I
didn't make any. lol!

Kenton Wanted to make our last day special. He decided
to take me out. I got all dolled up and we went to Outback
Steakhouse. I was so excited when I heard that Mom and Dan
were going to the same place at the same time. So we decided to
meet them there. It was good to go out to eat with them. :0)
Kenton and I ordered our favorite foods from this place.
I was really sad to see that the waitress was over worked.
She had so much on her mind that she kept forgetting about
what we needed on our table. It happened so many times.
I was excited because Kenton let me get a specialty drink. :0)
After we decided to go play some bowling at boondocks.
That was a lot of fun. I told Kenton that my uterus
was probably the size of this bowling ball. Only to find
out that it is the size of a soccer ball. lol! I'm a soccer mom and
I didn't even know it... also I didn't have to get the minivan. lol! jk!
I'm 24 Weeks Pregnant and I feel like it! I was having a hard time
getting up and down from my chair. Kenton had to help me out. Nice!
Kenton thinks he's pretty tricky. Look what he can do?
I couldn't believe that I won the first game of bowling.
That has never happened before. Kenton always wins every bowling game
we have ever played before. Also I couldn't believe that
Kenton and I tied on the second game. That has never happened
before either. We didn't do so well on the second game if you
couldn't tell. lol!

After we decided to head out to Brady and Bonnie's
house to play some games with some of their friends
and family. It was so much fun hanging out. They played
a game called curses and funglish. I've never played
the game funglish before. If you've never played it before,
you need to play it.
Super silly! I know I stayed up way too
late on New Years Night. What a great way to end 2010.
Kenton almost forgot to give me my new years kiss.
So glad he remembered... a min later. lol!

I'm so grateful for my Husband, Family, and my friends.
We Love our home. Our Little dog that has way too much energy.
Sometimes we do love him. Other times I wonder... lol!
We have been so blessed every time we turn around.
One second I think we aren't going to make it.
The next second we are being totally blessed. You have to
love blessings.

I'm looking forward to 2011. This is going to be
a fun Year!
