Halloween

Oh Halloween... The time to dress up! The time
to be something else. The time to have a little fun.
Kenton and I enjoyed this halloween. We didn't do much.
Just used some black hair spray for Kenton's hair. Then placed
a little black make-up for the final touch.
I went as a baseball player. Kenton went as something evil.
Ha Ha Ha! We were going to be some kind of vampires.
Then decided to go simple. I Love Halloween.

We decided to go to mom's Ward Halloween Trunk or Treat
this year. It was fun to have the family there.
We sure missed having Alysa there.

We Gathered a bag of candy, bought a cheap bucket
and went. Those kids were so cute coming up and
saying "Trick or Treat". I was trying to be funny
with some of them by saying "Trick or Treat, give you
something good to eat?" Majority of these kids laughed.
I loved having My sis McKenzie help me for a little bit.
She is super cute. I think the kids enjoyed our little
puppy. I feel bad because he got his shots today.
Sigh! He did great though.

I need to quickly add how sad I was that the lady
we bought our puppy from told us he had his
first shots already. Only to find out that he didn't.
She told us the clinic and they said they have no
record of her doing that. Plus the doctor only had
a de-worm and getting it's tail docked. Those
were the only things he had at that doctor. Sigh!
OH well... We got him super cheap anyways...
He had his last baby tooth pulled out. He was
such a good boy. I know we brought Reilly
because of an allergy warning and he couldn't be left
alone for 48 hours. I'm so glad we brought him
to trunk or treat. The kids just LOVED him.

My favorite part of the day was...
My cute little Micky and Minnie mouse Niece's.
They are super adorable. The youngest one would
say "No Reilly, No!" They know he gets hyper with
them. I don't think they are used to having a puppy
around. Don't worry girls. I'm not either.
I'm used to mellow older dogs. lol!
I love you girls!

Later that day we went home and finished packing.
For our Mexico trip. We were up until 1 AM
packing. I wanted to make sure we weren't
forgetting anything. Even though we
weren't going to be taking a whole lot.
I am so glad I took that picture of my phone
of a picture off my digital camera of Kenton
and I. I took it so I could post it right away
on my phone to Facebook.
I am super sad because... I left my Camera
on the shuttle in Mexico. Then we got our rental
car. I was so out of it. I couldn't remember where
I saw it last. Well in Mexico if you leave something.
It's then considered it a gift or some kind of
payment. Blah! I can't believe I left my camera.
At least I stole that picture off of it. :0)

Lemon Baby 14 Weeks pregnant

I just read the most funniest thing this morning and
I had to share. I read that My baby is the size of a lemon.
If I hold my fist tight. I can see how big my baby is.
It's always fun to see how big the baby grows in
such a short amount of time. It's neat to see at 7 1/2 weeks
our little baby was the size of a gummy bear when we found
out. Now it's the size of a Lemon. So cute!!! I feel like i've slept
majority of my 1st trimester. I'm so glad I was never really got sick,
Just REALLY tired all the time. It's bad, because I didn't feel
like I accomplished much during that time.
Can you say "Baby hibernation",
that's what I'm going to call it from now on.

I also read today that baby Jeffery is developing the roof
of it's little mouth inside. It's intestines are producing
meconium (it's waste that will make up the baby's first
bowel movement.) Makes me think I should probably go buy
diapers. Then I could check that off my list of things to get. lol!
The baby is sporting a downy coating of hair that keeps it
nice and warm. This makes me think of King Kong or
Mighty Joe young. I have a little monkey in my tummy at the
moment. I'm glad they are not born a hairy little baby. Even
though I have heard of some babies that are born VERY
hairy and they never get rid of it. That is one scary thought.
Lets just pray that doesn't happy to little baby Jeffery.

I'm happy to read that baby fat is going to accumulate
over the next few months. That way the hair will start to
shed off as it starts getting that cute little baby rolls.
I love the cute little baby fat all over the little one.
Kind of makes you want to cuddle with the little baby
and give it plenty of kisses on it's cute little chubby cheeks.
Makes the Grandma's Want to kiss those lovable cheeks as well.

Baby Bump

My lovely little baby bump...
My Lovely little lady lumps. LOL! Talk
about showing a bump all of a sudden. I'm loving
every little second of it.

I Have to announce my "baby bump" and...
Wait for it... I felt bubbles in my stomach
three days ago. It's like a water pond in
my stomach, I did feel the baby move. Then
yesterday I felt it move again. I do have to admit.
I really didn't know what it was at first. I really
didn't know what to think about all of it.
I really didn't think that you could feel it this early.
I was was worried that my baby broke the water.
Then the next day it did the same thing again. I had
to confirm from my sister if that is what it felt like when
the little one kicks. It is so different from what I had
thought it would feel like.

Today I was
just standing around before I got into bed and
a Random "KICK" comes from my stomach.
It was so weird and so cool all at the same time.
I have a little one swimming in my stomach.
I think it is more active right before I lay down
to go to sleep. This could be a bad thing if my
little one is a night owl. I wont get much sleep if
that keeps happening. I know I already have
a hard time getting to sleep from stomach pains.

I talked with my aunt about my stomach pains.
She had mentioned that
there is probably some herbal tea that might help.
I don't really want to do "Medications, over the counter pills".
I'm trying to stay away from medications as much as possible.
I know my second month I had a bacteria and tried to
avoid a doctor at all costs... Until the bacteria turned into
a slight ear infection. SO I went in and took some
antibiotics. Then just a couple weeks ago I had a
sinus infection. Isn't that about the same?
bacteria and sinus infection. I feel like it's the same thing.
Just called it something different. Well... Lets just say
I was back on antibiotics. Yet, It was a different kind.
SIGH! I wish I knew what to do sometimes.
I'm glad that all my medications are gone and
I don't have to worry about antibiotics for
the rest of this pregnancy (Knock on wood!)

I'm so happy that I don't get sick anymore. The nausea
is getting better. The sensitivity is getting better.
Which is really nice. Hopefully I will keep getting
better. :0) I'm so looking forward for this vacation
coming up. It makes me so exited to be able to
escape from the house for a little while and
enjoy what Heavenly Father has placed in front
of us. It's time to enjoy some fresh air.

Alysa's Baby shower

What a wonderful turn out for Alysa's baby shower. Talk about
being showered with GIFTS! It's so wonderful to see
family and friends all under one roof. The picture
above was all the little favors I made. It is so fun having
projects. They are surely one of my favorite things to do in life.
There were about 60 of these cute little favors.
Mom had told me that I was in charge of putting
these together. She didn't know what to fill the cups
with. so I bought those cute little mints that look
like Hersey kisses with white sprinkles on the
bottom. I tied it off with a cute bow around the tulle
with a colored binky. they turned out so super cute.
I thought I had a close up picture. I must have miss placed
it. Sorry!
These bibs were given to me by Grandma Harrison
before she got really sick. When she still lived at
her house. She told me I would do something good with
them. I held on to them, until now. I had this wonderful
feeling to give them to Alysa. She really hasn't inherited
anything from Grandma. I wanted her to have them.
There were five baby bibs. I crochet along the edges
and added some ribbon on the bottom. It turned out SUPER
CUTE. I had 3 dark pink ribbon bibs and 2 light pink ribbon bibs.
I'm truly happy that Alysa loved these bibs.
It was fun because Grandma made her one,
and becky made her 2 bibs. It was so fun to see
all the fun handmade gifts. Our family is truly talented.
My aunt had crochet a blanket. It was so cute.
My little niece grabbed the blanket and said
"My blanket". She is so attached to babies and
blankets. So cute!

Below is a close up picture of one of the bibs
I made for Alysa's baby.

I tried to go off the frog pattern on the bib and I bought
Alysa a little Frog. My little niece saw it at my house,
when I was babysitting her. She just feel in love with
this cute little frog. I guess when Alysa opened the
gift, my niece then yells "MY FROG!!" Goes up and
grabs the frog and really wouldn't let it go. lol!
Guess I'll have to get another frog for my house,
so when she comes over she will have the frog
there. Silly little girl.

Second Trimester

I am 13 weeks and 2 days on October 15th 2010.
My second trimester started October 7th 2010.
So weird to think that I made it this far.
No big baby bump yet. Just a little, little, little, little bump.
No baby bump just yet. BUT I can Defiantly feel it. :0)
My little on is growing... Sigh! I feel so blessed to be able to be a mom.

I'm truly excited to see the wonderful experience's I will have
during this road of motherhood. I know I have always
wanted to be a mom. Just not any mom, but a mom that
will teach, love, and grow with her kids.
I truly love watching other peoples kids. I know I will
truly love being a mother. It's going to be a challenge
that I know I can take. :0)
I wanted to add little odd yet funny things happening while
being pregnant. It's quite interesting the little things that you
crave durning pregnancy. To add a few...
*9pm at night I was craving a Caesar Salad... Had to have!
* Go to the store... CRAVING butternut squash. Bought it!
*Apple's and peanut butter... I never cared to try it before!
*BREAKFAST for Breakfast, lunch or dinner,
during anytime of the day I crave...
French toast, eggs, and bacon. :0) Don't know why but
this breakfast seems to be the number one craving on my list.
* Movie theater popcorn for dinner
*Pickles... Of course. I was so frustrated we didn't have any
in the fridge. I then bought some. :0) made my day!

There are more... I just went into a funk! I can't remember
all of them. I will ask my husband in the morning and post more then.
So far not too crazy of cravings. I do need to exercise more
and I need to be less tired. Pregnancy makes me super sleepy.
I feel like a kid again that gets her afternoon naps. lol!

Finally a funny story on cravings. We were driving home from
Logan (We were visiting Jenn and her baby was blessed
that day.) As we were driving home, I got really hungry.
Kenton asked "What do you want to eat?" (Let me remind
you it was Sunday and I really didn't want to order take out).
I then replied with tears in my eyes "I want a crispy chicken
sandwich from Burger king"... Long pause with more tears.
"But I can't EAT IT!". I added that I was allergic to gluten.
I was so super sad about all of it. Kenton really didn't
Know what to do... Here he has an emotional wife (that's
pregnant) CRAVING and crying over a silly sandwich.
When we got home I took a nap. Woke up and while I was
laying in bed, Kenton was there. I thought about what
happened during the day and started to laugh. I turned
to Kenton and said "I can't believe I was crying over
a stupid Chicken sandwich. lol"

Free Jazz Game!

Today we went to the Jazz game. What a game! It was a close
game until the 4th period. Wahoo! I can't believe we won.
It was a WONDERFUL game. The Jazz 108 vs. Suns 97
I'm So happy because we didn't have to pay for these tickets.
Kenton's coworker had these tickets and did't care for them
much. She was going on vacation. Plus it was the Pre
Season. I'm so glad she let us have these tickets. :0)

I think it was also funny because before we left to the game.
I was laying down because of a migraine. Kenton comes to
the room and asks me if I would rather stay home, If
I'm not feeling good. Then he mentions that we could go
to the gym instead. I was thinking "WHAT!?!?! and pass
up a Free Jazz game" If I'm well enough to go to the gym
then I'm well enough to go to the game. silly Kenton.
I'm glad we went and my Migraine went away so I could
enjoy the game.
I told Kenton to smile and he held up a number
one. Guess he was in love with the game. Their
number one. lol! Just Kidding. He actually had Nacho's
and couldn't smile. He was telling me one minute and
he would smile. lol! I do know that I will never buy Nacho's
at the game again. I don't think they are gluten free. BOO!
Not good!
Kenton and I at the game! What a great game.
Thanks honey for taking me out. Love you!

Kenton's Birthday 10/10/10

On the 8th
I made Kenton some wonderful cupcakes 39 of them.
Yes not 40 I tossed one out. I ran out of frosting and I didn't
want to make more icing for one cupcake. My husband
was so wonderful for helping mix the cake mix while I mixed the
frosting with different colors. He is wonderful!

While we were waiting for the second batch of cupcakes
to cook. I cut Kenton's hair. It is short... just the way he
wanted it. If you ask me, my husband is spoiled! :0)
On the 9th
I surprised my husband by taking him to the aquarium in Sandy.
It was WAY TINY! Not what I was expecting... They make
it seem so big on their commercials. Kind of deceiving if you
ask me. Yet, we did make it fun that day. Duh It's Kenton and I. :0)

Kenton was excited to pet the sting rays. Although it was
really scary for me. I remember Steve Irwin died from a
Sting ray piercing his heart. I know they can't hurt you
from just petting them in the pool. I just didn't like the thought
of them stinging anyone.
I was more daring when I was little. lol!
Then Kenton said "It's so slimy". Then I was totally out of the game.
I wanted nothing to do with it. lol!
I thought this sea turtle was pretty cool! There was only one,
which made me sad to see that. It reminded me of
The Turtle Crash on finding Nemo! So cute!
In the aquarium they have an area they call "Africa"
Or as Kenton says "amazon room".
Kenton and I decided to chill out for a little bit in the boat. :0)
I thought this was really cool! Just a SMALL boat for little
kids. lol!
Kenton was sad to see that the ore was screwed into the ground.
But I guess he was "day dreaming" that this boat was
real, and he was really in Africa. lol!
Kissing an Octopus lol!
Kenton was a little jealous...
I then surprised Kenton with a treat to Texas Roadhouse.
He was so excited! He had been talking about this place since
I've known him. They said they had a gluten free menu.
I was surprised to know that it was, but there wasn't a GF menu.
The manager came up and gave us a list of things that I could
and couldn't have. I decided to order a few of the things that he told
me was gluten free. Yet the mushrooms were not gluten free,
as they said.

I started to get sick asked the waitress
to go double check and ask the cook to see if it was gluten free.
She did and came back and told us that it wasn't gluten free.
The manager came back and apologized for the mistake.
Then gave Kenton a free brownie and ice cream.
We also had a gift certificate for a free appetizer.
It was good to get a few things for free. Especially since
I was paying. lol!
Kenton's birthday was on the 10th

I turned all of Kenton's cupcakes into a cake lol!
I loved these candles. The wick burned the colors of
the candle. There was red, orange, blue, and green. It
was pretty cool and well worth the money I spent.
The little kids loved all the colors on the cake.
I believe one of my nieces just wanted the cupcakes. lol!
Kenton is Handsome in this picture. Me... not so much. lol!
Kenton was surprised to see that I had tossed him this wonderful
surprise party. Yet... He found out what was going on before it
happened which made me sad! I didn't want him to know until his
family started to show up. BOO! Oh well... We enjoyed
Lasagna, french bread, and salad. Then after we had
cupcakes and ice cream. It was a great party.
Thanks to the family that came and thank you to our good
friends Brady and Bonnie. We truly did love the fun
times with everyone. Such great memories to
cherish forever! :0)

Thank you to all those who brought cards and gifts.
Kenton really enjoyed them, we even got a few laughs
from all the funny cards. We were truly grateful!
Thank you also to Alysa for Helping mom make
our Gluten Free Lasagna today. It was really good.
I couldn't help make it this morning, I was not
well from our texas roadhouse meal.
Thanks to mom for helping put this all together.
I couldn't have done it without my mom.
She is defiantly a great helper.
Mom you're the best! Thanks for letting
us toss the party at your house. I know we didn't have
the room for everyone at our house or the table and seats.
I love you very much!

Oh! Kenton just reminded me it's our 6 month
anniversary today! Love you honey...
We made it for 1/2 a year. Wahoo!!!

Baby Jeffery 11 Weeks 5 Days

We went to our see our doctor today to see how our little
one is doing. It was so neat to see how much it has
grown with a months time. It now is 2 1/2 inches :0)
I believe that is the size of a plumb.
It has a head, arms, legs. You can almost see the detail in
this 4D picture. We couldn't tell the babies sex today.
Our little baby Jeffery had it's leg crossed the whole time.
It also was folding it little arms. So peaceful...
Reminds me of a primary song "Reverently Quietly"
Awe... I love our little baby. Hopefully next
month you we will be able to see the babies sex.
I hope little baby Jeffery wont have it's legs crossed
again. :0)

Our next appointment is pushed back a week
On November 9th I will upload another video of our
sweet little baby Jeffery. :0)

If you missed the first video of our little
baby. Scroll down to Sept. 7th 2010
I believe it is call Baby's first ultrasound. :0)
You can't see much, but it's a little tad pool.
It's the size of a gummy bear.

Below this video I will explain what is going on in this
video so you wont be confused on what is going on

The first Part is blank for a little bit. I'm sorry, I was talking to our doctor forever. Be patient it will start. The first part in this video you will see the doctor measuring the baby. After the screen will turn orange, the video is now in 4D. It was really neat. I was so sad to see that our baby had it's little legs crossed and then we couldn't see if it was a boy or a girl. Then you will see our babies back. He wanted to see if the babies back was straight. It was and straight is good. When it goes back to black and white, our dr. was showing us the butt, to see if he could get a better view on the sex. But again no luck. We then get to hear the babies hear beat. It's beating so much faster then before. Then toward the very end we get to see more measurements of our little one. April 21st is still the baby Jeffery's due date. :0)

End of Sept. Beginning of October

The end of September and the beginning of October.
What a great way to end September and a great way
to begin October. We went to my sisters baby shower.
Her work was so nice to be tossing Alysa a baby shower.
It was fun to see some of the great co-workers that she
works with. I was so glad to come and to be a part of that
fun day. First off her co-worker placed her babies name
on the wall. I would have never thought to design it like
this. Such a cute Idea.

My little niece can read and spelled out the name.
Alysa asks "What does it spell" She looks at it and ponders
it for a little while and replies "My cousins name" lol!
silly little girl!
Her work made her this cute cake. WOW It looks just like a
baby invitation I saw once. Such a cute monkey
Alysa's friend at work bought her this travel system.
that was $180.00 and bought it for $47.00 I believe.
When I went to our walmart. It was on Clearance for
$180.00, I asked them if that was correct and they said
"Yes, our manager doesn't like to put anything on a mark
down." He mentioned that the price was $195.00 I don't
believe them. I saw the original tag that was still on the box.
It said $180.00. They think we are all idiots or something.
Mom got Alysa a cute baby outfit with...
This toy bunny. It was so cute. Her big gift she will
have to wait till her baby shower from the family.
I can't remember what Aubrey got her for this
shower. sigh... I will have to ask her.
I know I have the pictures I just can't remember.
The next day before we left to roosevelt we went
to the airport and saw Braden come home from Hong
Kong. I took some pictures from Sherrie's facebook.
I didn't have a lot of great pictures. I was too far
to get any good shots. lol!

All the cousins that were at the airport to see Braden.
Sherrie's family was very happy to see Braden.
look at that cute happy family.
Sherrie was so excited to see Braden. I know she was overjoyed.
You can tell by hearing the tone of her voice. Sherrie saw Braden.
Cried for joy and ran straight to him, before he got out of
the security exit. I don't think the
security lady was too happy but it was so cute to see her
run to her little boy.
My niece and I were having a good time. I'm sorry I look a mess.
I wasn't in the Mood to get all dolled up for anyone. lol! Welcome
to being pregnant. lol!
Alysa and Andrea are so cute in this picture.

My nieces and their 2nd cousin, he's their little buddy
I have to laugh at this picture. After I took this pic a few of
my cousins little boys came up to sit by my nieces.
Then My little niece grabs onto the escalator and goes for a
joy ride... as it was pulling her away and high above.
She knocked over two of her 2nd cousins and
made one cry. I grabbed her, before she could go any higher and
before she ran into her sister.
WOW what a tight grip she had on that bar.
I'm glad I caught her.
We went to grandma's and enjoyed the first part of
General Conference. Then we went to Grandpa's
tombstone to pay our respects. I can't believe it's been
a year ago since grandpa past away. I feel like time has
done nothing but fly really fast. I loved my grandpa
and look highly up to him. As I know many others did.
These flowers that Grandma got are absolutely stunning.
I love the fall colors that you see here. I do believe
that lily's are grandpas favorite if I can remember right.
My little niece's thought it would be fun to walk on
the tombstones. I thought they were being really cute.
I had the girls sit down for a picture and the one on
the right reminds me of her daddy in this picture as
she sticks out her tung. lol! silly little girls.
It was good to spend conference weekend with Grandma.
She mentioned over and over how grateful she was to have
us here. I was sad to leave. I'm glad we picked up the house.
It's always good to help her out.
LOVE YOU Grandma!
